Before you get Started

If you currently hold a residence visa in the UAE, You can sponsor your family members, including parents, spouse, and children, for a permanent Family Residence Visa. Visa by ALI is equipped to assist your family in obtaining a 2-Year Residence visa under your sponsorship. The entire process typically requires 3 to 4 working days.

A minimum salary of AED 4000 is required to process a Family Residence Visa. If your salary falls below the required amount, please inform us so that we can pursue special approval on your behalf.

Applying while your family is outside the UAE will save you AED 1350 per person for Dubai and AED 650 per person for other emirates.

Types of Family Residence Visa

New Born Visa

Validity: 2-Years

Can be applied for babies born in the UAE within 120 days of birth. Late applications will cause huge penalties.

Spouse/Kids Visa

Validity: 2-Years

Applied for wife and kids inside or outside the UAE. Both can sponsor even with low salaries. Single mothers can also apply.

Parents Visa

Validity: 1-Year

For people who want to sponsor their parents in UAE. Can be applied from inside or outside the UAE.

Eligibility & Requirements

Your Eligibility

  • 6 months valid UAE resident visa.
  • Ejari or tenancy contract for your apartment.

Other Requirements

  • The maximum age for children (unmarried) is 19 years for a boy and 21 years for a girl.
  • Married and above 19 children will not be invited to a family visa.
  • Sponsoring parents need an additional deposit of 5050 AED (refundable) guarantee to the UAE Government.
  • Only Muslim candidates approved by Govt. can sponsor two wives.
  • If your family is in UAE, cancellation papers for current visa are required.
  • In the case of Pakistani nationals, an ID Card copy is required. Both (Smart Card/Standard) can be accepted.

Complete Visa Process

Documents Collection

  • At this step, we collect all the required documents as per the visa type.
  • In case of hard copies, you can send us via courier or deliver by yourself at our office.

File Opening

  • A new file needs to be opened in the immigration system with the required documents.
  • An entry permit will be issued to the candidate once the file is opened.

Entry Permits

  • There are two types of entry permits issued by the Government of UAE
  • Entry permits can be different for visa holders inside the UAE and outside the UAE.

Change of Status

  • Visa holders outside the UAE need to enter in UAE within the next 60 days.
  • Visa holders inside the UAE need to apply for a status change application ASAP.

Medical & Emirates ID Process

The following things need to be done within 60 days.

  • After the e-visa holder enters the UAE, an application for Medical and Emirates ID needs to be submitted.
  • In case of a visa status change, the same steps must be followed.
  • After a successful test & bio-metric, a passport needs to be sent for visa stamping.
  • In case of new rules, a copy of the visa will be sent via email.

Medical is not required for kids under 14
